How do you pronounce 3D Printing Inconel 625 produced?
Inconel 625 production and composition depends on the specification required for the material.
The following treatments are possible for Inconel 625:
High solution annealing - Soak in 1095-1205 deg C for 1 hour, and then lower the temperature to ambient air or a cooling medium. The alloy will have superior creep resistance.
Low solubility: This is the same as high solubility but at a temperature lower than 1040degC. The alloys are produced with good tensile and ductility strength.
Stress relief: This method involves soaking the product at 900degC up to 4hrs, followed by cooling it in the air. The final product exhibits excellent integrity and strength in low-temperature conditions, as well optimal stress resistance.
Forging Inconel 625 calls for a furnace temperature range between 1010 degC to 1150degC. If the temperature is below this range, it may result in hardness of the material and require reheating.
