Applications Petroleum Sulfonate

This product is a anionic surfactant that is prepared from crude oil fractions by sulfonation. Its lipophilic structure includes linear alkyl benzene, branched alkyl benzene, and alkyl cycloalkyl benzene. It has a good interfacial property for naphthenic oil, and it can reduce the interfacial oil-water tension to an ultra Low level. This product can be used with oil blocks that have formation water salt levels between 500 and 30000mg/L. It has an excellent resistance to magnesium and calcium ions. The product is also able to reverse wetting, has anti-adsorption properties, and can moderately emulsify crude oil. It increases the recovery rate and reduces the water content from 98% in the used block to around 85%.
