In 1895, Cassel Goorin, a craftsman, sold custom-made hats out of his horse cart in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He passed his craft and business prowess onto his sons, Alfred and Ted, who eventually took over of the family business and became the brand we know as the Goorin Bros. Today, the fourth generation of Goorin family runs the business out of San Francisco, California with the same creative spirit as Cassel Goorin. They continue to make hats that display a mark of style, personality, and authenticity. Hat shops may have come and gone, but Goorin Bros. still bring a personal level of genuine interaction of a classic hat shop.
